Temposhark was formed in London by singer/songwriter Rob Diament. Live, Temposhark are slick and sexy with a strong stage presence supported by innovative visuals. There are four of them on stage: Rob Diament (vocalist), Mark Ferguson (bass), Luke Juby (keyboard) and Mathis Richet (drums), accompanied by string players where appropriate. They have a solid UK/US tour history, having played with Goldfrapp, Pete Doherty, Martin Glover (Youth), Guy Sigsworth, Mark Moore (S’Express), Grace Jones, Princess Julia, and Darren Hayes (formerly of Savage Garden) during his summer 2007 US promo tour; playing to sell out shows across America. To increase their profile in the USA, building on the success of both SXSW and the US tour, Temposhark performed a successful gig at The Annex in New York on September 11th 2007 coinciding with Fashion Week in Manhattan, which the band also attended. The success of the US tour resulted in a licensing deal with Defend Music in New York to distribute their debut album in the USA, Canada, UK, Germany, France and Spain.
